在數論中，素数定理（英語：Prime number theorem）描述素数在自然數中分佈的漸進情況，給出隨著數字的增大，質數的密度逐漸降低的直覺的形式化描述。1896年法國數學家雅克·阿達馬和比利時數學家德·拉·瓦莱布桑先後獨立給出證明。證明用到了複分析，尤其是黎曼ζ函數。
