历史
英特尔在2007年7月推出了Moblin.org的网站，Moblin 2操作系統是专为运行于英特尔处理器的MID与netbook。
在2009年4月，英特尔将Moblin移交给Linux基金会，以扩大开源社群的参与。
性能
在2009年美国旧金山的Linux协作首脑会议，英特尔表明，Moblin 2 Alpha版本可以负荷的主要组成部分的栈，包括图形系统，并且开机仅需几秒。[1]
