太平洋牡蛎属[1](学名:Magallana),是牡蛎科牡蛎亚科之下一个于2016年才建立起来的属,包括多个日常食用的非常重要物种。本属物种原来均为巨牡蛎属(Crassostrea)的成员,但后来发现巨牡蛎属是一个并系群,所以重新分类成为两个属[2][3]。
