《雨月物语》是日本导演沟口健二所执导的电影，受到上田秋成著作雨月物语的影响，于1953年上映。《雨月物语》被广泛的认为是电影史上最伟大的电影之一。
《雨月物语》获得1953年威尼斯影展最佳导演银狮奖，并多次被电影杂志《声音与影像》选为史上10大电影之一（1962年与1972年）。《乡村之声》（The Village Voice）于2000年将《雨月物语》选为20世纪100大电影之一，名列第29位。
2005年11月8日，《雨月物语》首次对第1地区发布了电影DVD双碟版，其中包括许多特殊内容，例如由日本导演新藤兼人执导的150分钟纪录片[2]。
