萧欣义，台湾 台南人，外文姓名 Harry Hsin-i Hsiao，台罗拼音 Siau Him-gi，东亚思想史学者[1][2]。美国哈佛大学东亚学系博士，加拿大维多利亚大学亚太学系退休教授，研究及教学范围包括早期中国思想史，以及中文、日文、台湾研究、中国后文革伤痕文学和红楼梦研究、中台关系、台湾史、文化变迁与民主化等。师承徐复观等。1971年曾任维多利亚台湾同乡会创会会长，并于 1980 年代担任美国台湾人公共事务会 中央委员[3]。1985 年2月，北美洲台湾人教授协会（NATPA）成员之一的萧欣义教授曾参与蓬莱岛杂志案的“冯著评鉴委员会”。因涉入海外台湾人活动而长期为海外黑名单上，于台湾民主化之后方能踏上故乡土地[4][5][6][7]。
