毒扁豆

毒扁豆（学名：Physostigma venenosum）毒扁豆生长于热带，植株可高达五十呎，花朵为红色，豆荚长而扁，种子是棕色扁平的大豆子。 毒扁豆的种子含有毒扁豆碱(physostigmine)，可使人类窒息死亡。

毒扁豆在尼日利亚卡拉巴普遍生长，故又名卡拉巴豆。^[1]
