拜是仪礼的一种，用来表示尊敬、哀痛等。拜的动作是跪下之后，大腿不贴近脚跟，拱手，头俯于手，与心齐平。[1]拜有五种方式，分别是空首、稽首、顿首、振动、肃拜，又因拜的场合不同而分为吉拜、凶拜、奇拜、褒拜。[2]
