等效球直径

等效球直径（英语：equivalent spherical diameter，简称ESD）为一科学名词，是指一不规则外形物体，其体积相同球体的直径^[1]。

根据IUPAC的定义^[2]，非圆形物体的等效直径等于非圆形物体有相同性质（空气力学、水力学、光学、电学）球体的直径。若考虑在非紊流运动下的物体，等效直径等于斯托克斯定律中的直径。
