巴斯思巴大学

巴斯思巴大学，或译巴斯泉大学，是英国森麻实郡的其中一所大学。2005年正式升格为大学，正名为巴斯思巴大学。它是英国第六大教师教育提供机构。^[3] 2006年在星期天泰晤士报大学指南中被投选为英国第五佳现代大学。^[4]根据2017年泰晤士高等教育英国大学排名，巴斯思巴大学在全英123间大学当中排行第75位。

历史

大学研究生教育机构Corsham Court

该大学的历史可以追溯至1852年成立的巴斯艺术学院（Bath School of Art）。1946年纽顿公园开设巴斯教师培训学院（Bath Teacher Training College）以填补战争导致的教师短缺。1975年该教师学院和巴斯家政学院（Bath College of Domestic Science）合并，改称巴斯高等教育学院（Bath College of Higher Education）。1983年巴斯艺术学会也并入此教育机构。1992年获得学位颁发资格，1997年改名为巴斯思巴大学学院（Bath Spa University College）。^[5][6] 2005年3月获大学资格，并在同年年8月改现名。^[7]
