增稠剂又称增黏剂,是一种可以增加液体黏度而基本不改变液体其他性质的化学物质。人们经常在酱汁、汤和布丁等放入可食用的增稠剂,同时它们的味道并不会改变;增稠剂也可用于涂料、墨水、爆炸物和化妆品。当有人出现吞咽障碍时,其饮用的液体也会被人放入增稠剂,因为这样可以降低患者误吸风险[1]。
