公估局是清朝中期以降至民国初年间存在的机构，负责鉴定银两的重量和成色是否符合规制并有核准流通市面之权。[1]公估局有公办和商办两种，多分布在大城市和商埠，每地仅限设置一局。1933年因国民政府实施废两改元导致其原有功能丧失而关闭。[2]
