IC代币是内藏IC芯片的塑胶制代币（token），一般地铁及停车场的收费系统皆可使用，原理类似智能卡的非接触技术，大小约为直径28毫米。

与纸张代币或票券相比，IC代币可重复使用、减少纸张用量，但无法直接显示金额，需使用读取设备才可得知金额。与接触式或非接触式电子票卡相比，IC代币的体积较小。
