圣雄甘地之死

圣雄甘地之死是指在1948年1月30日，78岁的圣雄甘地在印度新德里市中心的大宅邸（英语：Gandhi Smriti）大院内，遭到印度教民族主义者南度蓝姆·高德西暗杀^[1]。圣雄甘地出生于古加拉特邦波尔本达，是主张印度脱离英国殖民统治的印度独立运动领导人和思想家之一，并提倡和平及非暴力斗争的真理永恒哲学。这起刺杀行动是由南度蓝姆·高德西计划与执行。南度蓝姆·高德西是来自马哈拉什特拉邦浦纳的奇特帕万婆罗门（英语：Chitpavan Brahmins），同时是右翼印度教准军事组织国民志愿服务团^[2]、及印度教摩诃萨巴（英语：Hindu Mahasabha）的成员^[3]。南度蓝姆·高德西认为在1947年印巴分治期间，甘地对以穆斯林为主的巴基斯坦过于宽容^[4][5][6] 。
