潼南大佛寺位于重庆市潼南县县城西北1.5公里的定明山下，亦名南禅寺、定明院。今存有大佛阁、观音殿、玉皇殿、鉴亭四座木结构古建筑。文物遗址年代隋至民国。2000年9月7日列为第一批重庆市文物保护单位[1]。
