夏獻宗諱德旺，李氏，夏神宗之子。光定十三年，神宗自號上皇，傳位於德旺。改元乾定。乾定四年春，神宗崩，年六十四。七月，獻宗崩，年四十六。廟號獻宗。侄南平王睍立。
