泰南，泰國南境也，在克拉地峽之上，間暹羅灣、安達曼海間。洛坤山自北而南，至高處黃山，海上亦多山焉。其中普吉者，遊人樂至也。古洛坤國之地也，西接緬甸，南靠馬來西亞。南邊有奉伊斯蘭者。
