Holland is e streke in 't westn van 't land Holland, officieel Nederland. 't Is een oude provinsje die den dag van vandoage ipgedêeld is in de provinsjes Nôord-Holland en Zuud-Holland. De noame zou kommn van Holtland of Holdland (houtland).
De twi provinsjes t'hope hen een ippervlak van 5488 km², mè 6,06 miljoen inweuners (1104 inweuners per km²). Lik in de Vloanders wordt de noame Holland ook elders vele gebruukt vo hêel 't land.
