معاون ٹیکنالوجی جس کو مساعد ٹیکنالوجی بھی کہتے ہیں ٹیکنالوجی کی وہ قسم ہے جس میں موجودہ عام طراز (ٹیکنیک) کو ترمیم کرکے یا اس میں مخصوص اضافے کرکہ اس کو اس قابل بنایا جاتا ہے کہ وہ عاجز یا معذور افراد (disabled persons) کے لیے قابل استعمال اور ہمساز اور معاون ہوجائے۔
