మతుకుమల్లి విద్యాసాగర్

ముతుకుమల్లి విద్యాసాగౠ (జననం. సెప్టెంబర్ 29 1947) రాయల్ సొసైటీకి చెందిన ఫెలో, కంట్రోల్ ధియరిస్టు. ఆయన భారతదేశానికి చెందిన శాస్త్రవేత్త. ఆయన ప్రస్తుతం యూనివర్శిటీ ఆఫ్ డల్లాస్లో సిస్టమ్స్ బయాలజీ సైన్స్ లో ప్రొఫెసర్ గా యున్నారు.అంతకు ముందు ఆయన "టాటా కన్సల్టన్సీ సర్వీసు"లో వైస్ ప్రెసిడెంటుగా పనిచేశారు. అంతకు పూర్వం ఆయన బెంగళూరు లోని డి.ఆర్.డి.ఓ డిఫెన్స్ లాబొరేటరీలో (సెంటర్ ఫర్ ఆర్టిఫిసియల్ ఇంటెలిజన్స్ అండ్ రోబోతిక్స్) కు డైరక్టరుగా పనిచేశారు. ఆయన ప్రముఖ గణిత శాస్త్రవేత్త అయిన మకుతుమల్లి వి.సుబ్బారావు గారికుమారుడు.

Vidyasagar received several awards and honors, including:

• 1983: IEEE Fellow of the Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineers (IEEE), at the age of 35, one of the youngest to receive this honor, "for contributions to the stability analysis of linear and nonlinear distributed systems"^[1]
• 1984: the Frederick Emmons Terman Award from the American Society for Engineering Education^[2]
• 2004: IEEE Spectrum named him as one of forty "Tech Gurus"
• 2008: the IEEE Control Systems Award^[3][4]
• 2012: Became a Fellow of Royal Society^[5]
