கோதிக் கட்டிடக்கலை

கோதிக் கட்டிடக்கலை (Gothic architecture) என்பது ஐரோப்பியக் கட்டிடக்கலையின் ஒரு பாணியைக் குறிக்கும். குறிப்பாக இப்பாணி, தேவாலயங்கள், பேராலயங்கள் போன்றவற்றின் வடிவமைப்புக்களோடு தொடர்புடையது. 12 ஆம் நூற்றாண்டில் பிரான்சில் உருவாகிய இது மத்திய காலத்திலும் பயன்பாட்டில் இருந்தது. இதைத் தொடர்ந்தே 15 ஆம் நூற்றாண்டில் மறுமலர்ச்சிக் கட்டிடக்கலை உருவானது. 18 ஆம் நூற்றாண்டளவில் இங்கிலாந்தில் ஆரம்பமான கோதிக் மறுமலர்ச்சி முயற்சிகள், 19 ஆம் நூற்றாண்டில், ஐரோப்பாவிலும் பரவியது. இது சிறப்பாகச், சமயம் மற்றும் பல்கலைக்கழகக் கட்டிட வடிவமைப்புக்கள் ஊடாக 20 ஆம் நூற்றாண்டிலும் புழக்கத்திலிருந்தது.^[1][2][3]
