Vangjel Koça (Gjirokastër 1900 - Adriatik 1943) qe gazetar, përkthyes, publicist shqiptar mes periudhës së dy luftrave botërore, i njohur me emrin e penës Vangjo Nirvana. Pas pushtimit italian qe ndër krerët e administratës kolaboracioniste shqiptare.[1]
Mbasi kreu arsimin e mesëm në gjimnazin e njohur "Zosimea" të Janinës, u diplomua për jurisprudencë në Itali. Që në moshë të re u mor me gazetari, fillimisht në gazetën "Drita" e më pas "Demokratia" të Gjirokastrës. Në këtë të fundit mbajti disa vjet radhazi rubrikën "Lëvizje mendore". Si bashkëthemelues i lëvizjes ideologjike të neoshqiptarizmës, drejtoi fletoren "Neo – shqiptarizma", gazetë vërtet jetëshkurtër.
Revista "Përpjekja shqiptare" ka në themel edhe mendimin sociofilozofik të Vangjel Koçës. Në shërbim të lëvizjes mendore shqiptare përktheu "Dialogjet" e Lukianit, "Manualin" e Epiktetit dhe "Bisedë për metodën e Dekartit". Mbetet një nga intelektualët më të shquar të viteve 1930. Pas pushtimit italian qe ndër anëtarët e Institutit të Studimeve Shqiptare,[2] anëtar i Këshillit Qendror të Partisë Fashiste Shqiptare si dhe nënkryetar i Këshillit të Epërm Korporativ Fashit nga 9 prilli i 1940 deri më 8 maj 1943.[3]
