Gnej Pompey (latinisht: Gnaeus Pompeius Magnus;* 29 shtator 106 p.e.s Picenum ; † 29 shtator 48 p.e.s në Egjipt), udhëheqës ushtarak dhe politikan romak.
Pompei ishte i biri Gnej Pompeius Strabonit, politikanë shumë i pasur dhe me ndikim . Pompeu i Ri u rrit përkrah babait të ciln e kishte shoqëruar atë në fushatat ushtarake. Kur babai i tij vdiq, Pompeiu i Ri trashëgoi pasurinë e tij, ndikimi politik dhe një forcë të rëndësishme ushtarake.
