Jim Belushi

James Adam Belushi (lexo: Xhejms Belushi) ose Jim Belushi (lexo: Xhim Belushi), lindi më 15 qershor të vitit 1954 në Çikago (Ilinois), është aktor amerikan i kinematografisë, teatrit dhe televizionit me prejardhje shiqptare. [1]

Fëmijërinë e rininë i kaloi në Veaton (Ilinois). Është fëmija i tretë nga katër fëmijët e Adam dhe Agnesë Belushit. Babai i tij, Adami, emigroi në SHBA, duke lënë vendlindjen fshatin Qytezë në vitin 1934 në moshën 15 vjeçare. Ndërsa nëna e tij, Agnes Belushi, lindi në SHBA, bijë e një emigranti shqiptar. Vëllai i tij më i madh ishte John Belushi (lexo; Xhon Belushi), po ashtu aktor i famshëm i skenës së Hollivudit dhe shoqërisë në SHBA.
Belushi studioi në universitetin e Ilinoit të quajtur Southern Illinois University Carbondale dhe u specializua në degët e Artit: Të shprehurit dhe Teatri.
Nga viti 1977 deri më 1980-in, Xhimi punoi së bashku me grupin teatror të Çikagos të quajtur: The Second City. Gjatë kësaj periudhe prezantohet si deputant në televizion më 1978-ën, në :Who's Watching the Kids po ashtu kishte disa pjesëza në serinë: Brian De Palma's The Fury.
Roli i tij i parë i gjatë ishte në filmin: Michael Mann's Thief (1981). Që nga 1983 deri më 1985, shkroi dhe mori pjesë në programin e mbrëmjes së shtunës:Saturday Night Live. Kulmin e famës së tij, drejt rolit kryesor e arriti me rolet ndihmëse në: About Last Night dhe Salvador (të dy më 1986). Luajti role në filmat:Real Men (1987), The Principal (1987), Red Heat (1988), K-9 (1989), Taking Care of Business (1990), Mr. Destiny (1990), Royce (1994), Retroactive (1997).
Po ashtu Xhimi, punoi në filmat vizatimor. Një ndër sinkronizimet, është edhe ai në filmin vizatimor Geppetto, një version i filmit artistik Pinokio (org.:Pinocchio).
Është martuar tri herë, dhe ka tre fëmijë. Tani gjendet në mardhënje bashkëshortore me Jennifer Sloan, i kurorëzuar më 2 maj 1998.
Sipas prezantimeve të tij në skenën e shoqërisë amerikane, dhe në përgjithësi me intervistat e tij, ai mburret me prejardhjen e tij. Në një intervistë të dhënë ZDF (Radio Televizion Shtetëror Gjerman), ai flet me kënaqësi për vizitën e fundit të tij me të atin në vendlindje. Ai thotë se "kur, isha në vendlindjen e babait, nga të gjitha anët shikoja si në pasqyrë, figurën time, të gjithë më dukeshin të njëjtë si unë".[2]
Në vitin 2001 Xhimi luan në serialin According to Jim rolin kryesore me Courtney Thorne-Smith.
