Kurów je obec vo východnom Poľsku, v okrese Puławy Lublinského vojvodstva. Leží 30 km severozápadne od Lublinu na križovatke diaľkových ciest č. 12 a 17 a preteká ňou riečka Kurówka. Samotná obec Kurów má 2 800 obyvateľov, celá gmina 7 900 obyvateľov na ploche 101 km². V Kurówe sa v roku 1923 narodil bývalý poľský prezident Wojciech Jaruzelski.

Prvá zmienka o lokalite pochádza z 20. januára 1185 a nachádza sa v dokumente mazovského kniežaťa Leška. V rokoch 1442-1870 bol Kurów mesto (v období 1456-1465 bol sídlom kurovského okresu). Po treťom delení Poľska sa mesto ocitlo na území Západnej Haliče pod vládou Rakúska. Mestské práva obec stratila v rámci reštrikcií za účasť obyvateľov v januárovom povstaní v roku 1863.
