Tromsø is a city in Troms county, Norway. It is located on the island of Tromsøya, just off the mainland of Northern Norway. The city has an estimated population of 64,492 people and an area of 21.25 square kilometres (8.20 sq mi). It is the largest urban area in Northern Norway.
