Wright State University is a public university in Fairborn, Ohio with a mailing address of Dayton. The university has about 19,793 students. It was founded in 1967. The current president of the university is Susan Edwards. The University is named after the Wright brothers.

The athletics teams of the university are called the Raiders. They have 17 varsity teams and they compete in the Horizon League.
