Hi Sonia, thanks for your advice on IRC the other day. I have now finally sorted out what was wrong and Twinkle is back. One of the gadgets in preferences clashes with it. I turned most of them off and now it works, but I am not sure which particular one it was. Thanks again, --Peterdownunder (talk) 12:17, 30 April 2011 (UTC)
Congratulations - you have a new book! And this one is much thicker than the last. Enjoy. Peterdownunder (talk) 12:17, 30 April 2011 (UTC)
...for blocking 92.43.64.69. I was adding the IP to VIP when you placed the block. :) NotImportant (talk) 10:37, 16 May 2011 (UTC)
Hi Sonia, I am a long-time Wikipedia contributor for the Malay version and I just started contributing here. I don't know the policy for categories here and was confused as to how to categorize the articles. Also, I wonder why the Reader's Digest picture doesn't appear although it has been uploaded in Wikimedia. Please delete the irrelevant categories and if you can, do change them so that I do know how to do it right the next time. — PM Poon (talk) 21:26, 8 June 2011 (UTC)

Hi Sonia! Thanks for the welcome. Like yourself, I am an OA on Wikipedia. I signed up to assist Adrianne's Children's Literature course a while back, but I didn't know that she was using Simple Wikipedia. I hadn't actually edited over here before, so I thought I should check it out to make sure I'm not in over my head. Is there a resource that provides a comparative table between the simple and en? I understand the change in grammar and wording, but I'm wondering what else is different. Ideas? Thanks, Cindamuse (talk) 23:48, 19 August 2011 (UTC)
Hello Sonia! My name is Megan, I am in Professor Wadewitz Children's lit class. We are supposed to introduce ourselves to get familiar with Wikipedia. I have a feeling we will be talking a lot as I am getting used to this new form of writing. Thanks!

Hi Sonia! I have never talked to you before, so I just wanted to say hello! So... Hi! :) Orashmatash (talk) 20:56, 12 October 2011 (UTC)
Hello Sonia! Thanks for actually letting me know I did something wrong, not many people do that :). Just letting you know, I changed the reference. I must apologise, I did actually think there was a policy/guideline page I missed out when I was catching up on the rules, but I've found it, and it was in fact WP:CIRCULAR. Thanks again! My class has started editing their articles - please watch over them as they start. Thanks! See the list here. Awadewit (talk) 19:34, 25 October 2011 (UTC)
Of course I'm happy to help and I'm extra happy to help the students who are putting forth the effort now. It will be a long day if I have to come along and clean up/tutor on nine articles simultaneously. Good to know you're out there to assist as well! I'm also not as familiar with simple.wp as en.wp, so if you see me making an error, please interrupt and give your wisdom. —Justin (koavf)❤T☮C☺M☯ 23:26, 13 November 2011 (UTC)
Hey Sonia I just wanted to thank you for your very quick feed back on my editing. I still have a long way to go for the assignment, but it makes me feel a lot better to know that you think I am doing fairly well. Thanks and I would appreciate your feedback anytime you want to give it to me. Meganblair1 (talk) 04:09, 14 November 2011 (UTC)
Thank you for your answers for my Wikimania panel, this is a notice of acceptance (a formal one instead of just the sign up :P). If you know anyone who still would like to participate and meets the criteria of being an administrator and their wiki not already taken, please let them know as this is the final week to signup. If you have any questions, please stop by my enwiki talkpage linked in the signature. Thanks. -- DQ (ʞlɐʇ) 02:10, 13 April 2012 (UTC)

Hello! I am assuming you have come over from the English Wikipedia, so you are probably familiar with the way this wiki works. I hope you like it here and decide to stay. Here are a few links to help you adjust:
There is much to do here. For example, there are a lot of articles that do not exist yet, which you can bring over from the English Wikipedia and simplify. Do have a look around and see what you would like to do. Thank you for joining us, and you know how to contact me if you need help. SimpleWikiforyou123 (talk) 11:06, 19 September 2012 (UTC)
This is just notice to let you know your account was below the inactivity requirement of 100 edits and/or actions on October 1st. Should you still be below 100 on January 1st your admin tools will be removed per WP:Inactive administrators. If you know you will not be active in the next couple of months feel free to let us know and we can just remove them now otherwise it will be done automatically at the beginning of the new year. -DJSasso (talk) 11:41, 12 October 2012 (UTC)
