Thracians

Indo-European people From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

The ancient Thracians were a group of Indo-European tribes who spoke the Thracian language - a rare branch of the Indo-European language family. Those peoples lived in Thrace: the eastern, central and southern part of the Balkan peninsula, and the adjacent parts of Eastern Europe. The Bulgarians and Romanians are the genetic descendants of Thracians.
