The Seattle Times is a daily newspaper, which is published in Washington state. The newspaper was founded in 1891 by Alden J. Blethen, as Seattle Press-Times. In 2021, it is the newspaper with the highest circulation in the state; most people who read newspapers read The Seattle Times. The Seattle Times Company publishes the newspaper. Blethen family holds a majority in the company. Several reports of The Seattle Times were awarded the Pulitzer Prize.[1] In 2013, its printed circulation was about 275.000 copies.
