Satyr play

Satyr plays were an ancient Greek form of theatre, similar in spirit to burlesque. They featured choruses of satyrs, were based on Greek mythology, and were full of mock drunkenness, brazen sexuality (including phallic props), pranks, sight gags, and general merriment.
