The Princess Amelia (7 August 1783 – 2 November 1818) was a member of the British Royal Family.

Amelia was the youngest daughter of King George III and Queen Charlotte of Mecklenburg-Strelitz. She was her father's favorite daughter. After her death at the age of 35 in 1818, King George III had his final descent into madness.
