Loftus Road

Loftus Road is a football stadium in Shepherd's Bush, West London. It is the home of Queens Park Rangers F.C.,[1] it was formed in 1904. One of its notable distinctions lies in being the pioneer among British professional football stadiums to embrace an artificial pitch, a feature it proudly showcased from 1981 to 1988. Loftus Road's significance extends beyond its association solely with Queens Park Rangers. London Wasps, the Rugby Union team, called it home from 1996 to 2002,[2] and during the reconstruction of Craven Cottage, Fulham, a Premier League side at the time, graced its grounds from 2002 to 2004.
