Lexicography

Lexicography is the study of lexicons. It is divided into two separate academic fields:
- Practical lexicography is the art or craft of writing and editing dictionaries.
- Theoretical lexicography is the scholarly study of a language.

A person whose works are about lexicography is called a lexicographer.[1]
