The iPhone 15 and iPhone 15 Plus are smartphones developed and made by Apple Inc.[15][16][17] It is announced on September 12, 2023.[18] People can buy early on September 15, 2023.[19][20] People can buy it on September 22, 2023.[21][22] Apple changed lighting connector to USB Type C to follow the rules of the European Union.[23] iPhone 15 Plus has a 6.7 Inch bigger 460ppi OLED display, and iPhone 15 has a 6.1 Inch 460ppi OLED display.[24] It is has a Apple A16 Bionic chipset.[25]

It is has a 60hz refresh rate display.[26] Along with the iPhone 15 Pro and iPhone 15 Pro Max, were announced at an Apple event on September 12, 2023.[27][28][29] This phone before to the iPhone 14 and iPhone 14 Plus. it has a bigger battery, camera updates and faster performance.[30]

Some people with an iPhone 15 or iPhone 15 Plus say it gets hot while setup or backup.[37][38] when people use the apps like Uber and Instagram gets hot too.[39] it has been fixed later for getting hot after the next update of iOS 17.[40][41]

Both phones are has first big design change looks like the iPhone 12. It has a Dynamic Island, it has a ceramic shield that hard to break if dropped it. it comes with five colors such as blue, pink, yellow, green and black.[42][43]
