Homoousion

Christian theological term and concept From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

In Christian theology, Homoousion is a term used about the Nicene Creed to explain that God the Son Jesus Christ is of the same essence as God the Father. Each person of the Trinity is same in essence, different in appearance, and has a different character.
