Haßfurt (German pronunciation: [ˈhasˌfʊʁt] (listen); English: Hassfurt) is a town in Bavaria, Germany, capital of the Haßberge district. It is on the river Main, 20 km east of Schweinfurt and 30 km northwest of Bamberg.
