Hans Walter Conrad Veidt (22 January 1893 – 3 April 1943) was a German actor. He best remembered for his roles in movies such as The Cabinet of Dr. Caligari (1920), The Man Who Laughs (1928), The Thief of Bagdad (1940), and in Casablanca (1942).

Veidt was against Nazism, and fled with his Jewish wife to the United Kingdom after Hitler had come to power in 1933. He moved to the United States in 1941.
Conrad Veidt died in Hollywood, California from a heart attack, aged 50.
