Bun'an (文安) was a Japanese era name (年号,, nengō,, lit. "year name") after Kakitsu and before Hotoku. This period started in February 1444 and ended in July 1449.[1] During this time, the emperor was Go-Hanazono-tennō (後花園天皇).[2]
- 1444 (Bun'an 1, 4th month): Kitano Tenman-gū and much of western Kyoto was destroyed by fire.[3]
