Atlantic Canada, also known as the Atlantic provinces, is the region of Canada that is made up of four provinces on the coast of the Atlantic Ocean: the three provinces of the Maritimes (New Brunswick, Nova Scotia, and Prince Edward Island) and Newfoundland and Labrador. The Atlantic provinces have a total population of 2.4 million people.
