Area code 250 is a telephone area code in the North American Numbering Plan (NANP). It is used in the province of British Columbia in Canada. It was created in 1996, as a split from 604. It covers most of British Columbia, except for the Greater Vancouver area and the Fraser Valley. This includes cities like Victoria, Kelowna, Kamloops, Nanaimo, Prince George, and the rest of Vancouver Island and the interior and northern regions of the province.
