A Quiet Place in the Country (Italian: Un tranquillo posto di campagna, French: Un coin tranquille à la campagne) is a 1968 French Italian thriller movie directed by Elio Petri and based on the short story The Beckoning Fair One by Oliver Onions. It stars Vanessa Redgrave, Franco Nero, Georges Géret, Gabriella Boccardo and was distributed by United Artists.
