2018 school shooting and bombing in Kerch, Crimea From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
On 17 October 2018, a bomb attack and school shooting happened in the dining room and second floor of Kerch Polytechnic College in Kerch, Crimea. The school is attended by students aged 15 to mid-20s.[2] 20 people died and over 53 were injured, 12 of them critically.[3][4][5][6]

The shooter was 18-year-old student Vladislav Roslyakov, who after the attack killed himself.[7] One of the survivors said the shooting lasted 15 minutes.[8]
The crime is under investigation as a mass murder and not terrorist attack.[9]
Russian President Vladimir Putin described the attack as a "tragic event" and offered his condolences to the victims' families while attending a conference in Sochi.[10]
Ukrainian President Petro Poroshenko expressed condolences to the victims, whom he described as Ukrainian citizens.[11]
