Wilmslow is a small town and civil parish in the ceremonial county of Cheshire, England. It falls within the Cheshire Golden Triangle and is one of the most sought-after places to live in the UK after Central London.

The 2011 census revealed that the population of Wilmslow was 24,497.
The name "Wilmslow" derives from the Anglo-Saxon "Wīghelmes hlāw" meaning "mound of a man called Wīghelm".
The town has a railway station on the Crewe–Manchester line. The station has direct trains to Manchester Airport, Manchester itself, London, Liverpool, Crewe, Shrewsbury and South Wales.
Mathematician, computer scientist and logician Alan Turing died in the town. However, the actual reason for his death, which is said to be suicide, is still disputed.
