Sault Ste Marie is the third largest city in northern Ontario, Canada. It had 72,051 people at the 2021 count.
Sault Ste Marie is on the border of Ontario and Michigan.
As of November 15, 2022, Matthew Shoemaker was elected to be mayor of Sault Ste Marie Ontario
Located on the St. Mary's River this town is home to wonderful sights, golf courses and much more.
The area was originally named Baawitigong, which means "place of the rapids" by the Ojibwe tribe.
Sault Ste. Marie has its own Walk of Fame.
