town in the North Ostrobothnia region, Finland / From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
Raahe (Swedish: Brahestad) is a town in Northern Ostrobothnia, Finland. It was founded by Swedish statesman and Governor General of Finland Count Per Brahe the Younger. As of 28 February 2023, 24,050 people lived there. Neighbouring municipalities are Haapavesi, Oulainen, Pyhäjoki, Siikajoki and Siikalatva.
