Polvijärvi is a municipality in North Karelia, Finland. As of 19 September 2023, 4,086 people lived there. Its area is 958.32 square kilometres (370.01 sq mi). Neighbouring municipalities are Juuka, Kaavi, Kontiolahti, Liperi and Outokumpu.
Polvijärvi was founded in 1876.
