Orangeburg, also known as The Garden City, is a principal city in and the county seat of Orangeburg County, South Carolina, United States.[1] The population of the city was 13,240 according to the 2020 United States Census.[2] The city is located 37 miles southeast of Columbia. The city is located 72 miles from Charleston.
