The Ohře (German: Eger) is a river in Germany and the Czech Republic and is a left tributary of the Elbe. The Ohře is 316 km (196 mi) long. The river starts in the Fichtel Mountains, near the Bavarian town of Weißenstadt. It flows through the towns of Cheb, Loket, Sokolov, Karlovy Vary, Klášterec nad Ohří, Kadaň, Žatec, Louny, Libochovice, Budyně nad Ohří and Terezín. It flows into the Elbe at Litoměřice.
