Nitra (river)

The Nitra (German: Neutra; Hungarian: Nyitra) is a 166-kilometre (103 mi) long river in west Slovakia. It flows into the Váh river in Komoča. The source of the river is in the Malá Fatra (Lesser Fatra) mountains north of Prievidza. The river passes through the towns of Bojnice, Topoľčany, Nitra and Nové Zámky.
