Nescafé is a brand of instant coffee made by Nestlé. Instant coffee is a powder which is mixed with hot water to make coffee. There are several different products that have the name Nescafé. The name is a mix of the words "Nestlé" and "café".[1] Nestlé's instant coffee product was introduced in Switzerland on April 1, 1938[2] after being developed for seven years by Max Morgenthaler and Vernon Chapman.[1]
